What began in 2015 as Prominent Sales Corporation in Guwahati has grown, over a decade, into Prominent Petrochem Pvt. Ltd. — expanding its footprint across the North East and into international markets through its Dubai office.
We operate our own stationary decantation plant in Guwahati capable of producing and supplying all grades of bitumen — including Polymer Modified Bitumen — in bulk, backed by an in-house laboratory for continuous testing and product improvement.

Every batch — bitumen and emulsion — is lab-tested to IS 73:2013 and IS 8887:2018 before dispatch. Independent validation from IIT Guwahati, Geo-Chem Middle East, Shriram Institute and CRRI-adjacent labs.
Owned decantation plant & fleet
Stationary decantation plant at Pub Boragaon, Guwahati, with drum yards and a dedicated tanker fleet — material dispatched within 1–2 working days of a confirmed purchase order.
International sourcing advantage
Our Dubai trading arm is licensed by the Department of Petroleum Affairs to trade bitumen, tar and asphalt — enabling direct imports and better-negotiated pricing passed on to Indian customers.
