What began in 2015 as Prominent Sales Corporation in Guwahati, Assam has, over a decade, grown into Prominent Petrochem Pvt. Ltd. — expanding its footprint across the North East and into international markets through its Dubai office.
Our core business spans four areas: importing and supplying bitumen and allied products such as fuel oil; decanting bitumen with a bulk supply chain reaching across the North East and beyond; supplying bitumen emulsions (RS-1, SS-1, MS grades) and cold-mix emulsions; and manufacturing road chemicals such as anti-stripping agents and adhesion promoters, backed by dedicated technical support.
The company operates its own stationary decantation plant in Guwahati capable of producing and supplying all grades of bitumen — including Polymer Modified Bitumen (PMB) — in bulk. A dedicated in-house laboratory supports continuous testing, quality rechecking, and product improvement.
